Trimming baby's nails

How often do you trim your baby's fingernails? I find this especially difficult to do with my 10 month old baby boy because he's very fidgety and would not keep still for me to trim his fingernails properly. I often trim his nails...

fairyrose i think while sleeping is really a good timing while baby is sleeping and you are right (",) my baby is only two months and 24 days old and he hates to be hold tightly in his hands and its really hard to cut his and at the very first i was scared to do so....
