do u eat apple with its skin ? if u do then u shold try this, take something sharp and try to scratch or the surface of the apple skin and u will find that there is someting like wax that will comes out .... think what will happen...

feedee actually before this i ate apples with its skin too but after my friend told me this i think we should be more careful ..i mean it is better to prevent than curein' right especially for kids i think u've done the right things... maybe we should get an expert...
