Vitamin A ascetate and betacarotene

I usually find on vitamin bottles a word 'vitamin A (as ascetate)' or 'vitamin A (as betacarotene)'. What is the different? Which one is better?

Funflower Betacarotine is definetely better as it is the natural ingredient that your body synthesises vitamin A from. Acetate is a manufactured ingredient.
