JannaLee Well, in my opinion both things are intertwined and distinguishing the difference of both seems to be very difficult. In my opinion though, friendship is usually a platonic relationship and indeed it can exist without love...love on the other hand, oftentimes...

camodad Love is a deep feeling that you have about some one or something. Caring for and the want and desire to be around them is love. Friendship is more like a good time. You like your friends and enjoy time with them but, you don't desire there presence 24/7.
