Why do we have ego??? When we know that we are not going to live forever in this world. Then why on earth we show attitude and rudeness behavior to ordinary people??

Do you feel that you are born doing special things like helping others regardless of their religion and cast and color??? I don't know why when I see my self.... I considered my self as a special person that has given special task...
