sunup13 I do the same thing with my 5 month old, maybe later on when she is busier I'll make a flexible schedule, just so I can do housework, etc but for now its working fine. She eats every 3 hours and was sleeping for a half hour after being awake for 1 1/1 hours...

sukumar794 I do not think that the classic importance of newspapers have faded out in the modern world. As for me , cable news or whatever on line communication would become substitutes for the ever loving morning newspaper..the joy of reading is unsurpassed.

I sometimes put my baby in his high chair to watch cartoons while I'm doing other things. I feel guilty, though. Do you think it's okay to let him watch? If so, how long would be too long?

juleek I wouldn't let a 1 year old spend too much time in front of the T.V.. Your child is in the process of developing habits and T.V. shouldn't be a habit but a treat that is viewed discriminately on occassions.
