Is keyword research for SEO important?

I think most of us do not put emphasis on keyword research when we set up blogs or websites. I am not too sure myself but I think it plays an important role in getting traffic to our blogs and sites if we align our keywords...

I have signed up for SlashMySearch and I must tell you its just fantastic. I am getting a lot of referrals and my commission keep increasing. This is a new search engine that has better features and is paying you more and faster...
