I had dogs before but my daughter won't be able to take care of one so that wouldn't be a good idea. I have my hands full as it is. She really wants a pet but I don't know what is best. It has to be easy to take care of for a five...

heartsdesire a fish might be a good first pet.that is what my moms friend did with her daughter and it is pretty easy for her to take care of.not too mention they dont require as much care as a dog does.
