Omaha Steaks for a Christmas gift.... good idea?

Heya! My dad's a big kitchen person. He enjoys fancy meals and what not. I've heard about Omaha and they look pretty good. Has anyone ever tried them? Would it be a good idea for a Christmas gift? Thanks! :D

I personally think clever wit and randomness is funny. But I have a friend who thinks it's funny when people fall or trip. What about you?
