croc warnings - took this photo in Darwin, Australia a while back, and yes i took a god look around beforehand in case i was being lined up for lunch, i did see some crocs further out in the water and they where easily big enough to eat me. i was pretty surprised later when having a few drinks with the locals and they told me that tourists go in the water all the time thinking that the signs are a 'gimmick' thing, even so far as one dad (nationality witheld) saying 'is that for real my 10yr old son wants to swim', now i realise our kids get on our nerves now and then but this seems a bit extreme to me. what do you think?
