tanning bed - they always look so space age to me. my first encounter with a tanning bed was when I was 11 years old - we went camping in minnesota and the campground was really inclusive. they had a rec area with a swimming pool that was outside but you swim underneath the wall and you were now inside - it was so cool. they also had tanning beds and even though I was a kid I was permitted to get on and use it. I do not believe they even had goggles available, I know I did not wear any anyhow. :(
