Is my dog having a Cherry Eye? - Is it curable? I searched for videos on how to massage the sides of the dog's eye to fix tear-gland position, but unfortunately it still didn't fix my problem. I checked some photos of dogs with cherry eye and I found out that the dog's tear gland are swelling. My dog's tear gland is a bit different, it's just big but it's not swelling at all. I tried dropping anti-inflammatory products for the eye and my dog's tear-gland became normal. It could be that my dog's eye is too dry and it triggered the tear gland to grow big. Please see the photo of my dog, where I highlighted the portion I am referring to. I know that abnormal position of the tear gland is harmless, but I am open for suggestion and ideas just to help my dog. Thank in advance!
