Teaching Board Talk. - it is difficult to teach when it you don't know the language. But it is challenging for me, I thought of different ways on how I will teach my students. First, I used games, they say it is best way to retain to students’ minds. Hmmmm this is quite not effective because I am the only one who speaks English here, though they have Thai English teacher, too. I have thought of using dictionary and students will be searching for the word in dictionary, write in Khmer and use in the sentence. Just students don’t understand even if this is the set up however, I know through building vocabulary this strategy helps. Now I am presenting to you the newest teaching style that I have figured out and seems effective. I write the lessons in English have a dictionary and ask someone in the class to write in their language. Whoo hoot.. finalllllllllllllllllllly… I hope this one is good. Simple sentence, simple answer… I learned from them too. I tell the statement in English.. and tell in Thai.. and ask the students if I did it right and understood what I mean. So far so good. I learned from them too, I asked them what the specific word in Thai Language is and they can identify and I will learn the word in Thai too. Yeeepeeee free learning of language . The to reinforce I will show pictures and ask them what is it all about in prasaa Thai.. (Thai Language) and angrit… (English) Khao Chai Mai? Do you understand?
