'Lair of the Canidragon' - This picture was originally done in pencil and scanned into Painter and colored. The rock face was done in a granite style by blending two colors in the paintbox, a feature I've only seen on Painter. The scene is a young warrior with his lance (blade visible in upper corner) slowly approaching the creature's lair. A canidragon, while not a true dragon, is named for its magical hybridation of wolf and basilisk. This highly territorial and fierce creature is often employed to guard entrances of cave dwellers or wizard fortresses. If you look closely or adjust the brightness settings of the picture- you can actually see it inside the cave.
