Battle scene - A picture of one of the battle scenes where the slaves/prisoners serve as entertainment for the rather cruel public. I appreciated the stark contrast between the heavily armored soldiers who were armed and the slaves who were only equipped with wooden shields. Classic example of brain over brawn cause it was due to Maximus's commanding and battle skills that allowed them to survive over and over again.
