How do you make $ off of blogs?

Hey, I started a blog on blogspot.com but i am so confused about the process. All I know is that you can go to adsense and they will pay you everytime someone goes and clicks on that add. Besides that I hardley know what to do...

How many differnt languages can you say I love you? In spanish it is " Te Amo"!!! Or "Te quiero Mucho".. what else do you know?
