What is dextroscoliosis and how to cure it?

Recently i've gone from a physical exam and from my xray result it shows that i have dextroscoliosis. I don't know what is it, but i heard that if it does not cure i might undergo on a spine surgery. I would like to know further...

jess1981 i just found out i had dextroscoliosis from an x ray because i was having severe pain in my lower back and down the side of my left butt cheek? i thought it was my siatic but can dextroscoliosis trigger other places? could it be sitting on a nerve?
