deeeky Point taken. Here in UK the government are constantly checking and finding people in the gym working out and doing marathons even though they state that the have a bad back or can hardly walk a few paces. So I am in agreement with your discussion.

deeeky No it does not bother me what people spend thier money on as when i see so many fighting machines that cost billions of dollars just to kill humans. It makes me sick to the stomach of such a waste when there are people starving in this world.

CherBear04 There is a difference between people who need assistance and those who are abusing the assistance they get. If someone is trying and cannot afford to live that is good enough for me. If they are lazy and doing nothing and get the assistance then I don't agree...

Grammasherri With stores like Aldi's and Save a Lot people are able to spend less and buy junk food. As long as they are buying healthy food also, I have no problem with it. I *worked* for my Social Security check. It is by no means a hand out from the government....

CherBear04 I agree. Did you know that some people even sell their food stamps in exchange for cash? It's not legal obviously, but it does happen. I wish I could live rich for free, it'd be fantastic.

CherBear04 Here in Ohio you can buy any type of food/drink other than alcohol / cigarettes. I am not saying that everyone who uses food stamps is a bad person, or that they use it horribly, I am just irritated with the people who do take advantage of the system, abuse...
