Can you trust a site that wants you to download something?

I recently found a site called: paidtoplaygames.net/paidtoplaygames.html and one of the steps is to install their software. is this safe? (Also, what is a 500 rating, i wasnt allowed to copy and paste)

How old were you when you got your first console?

My question for this board is : How old were you when you got your first console? I would also like to know if you bought it yourself, or if someone bought it for you. I got a game boy color at age 8, from my parents.
