Sorry I was MIA again yesterday. The internet was running so slow it was 10-15 minutes between screens. I finally gave up.
Had a rough night thinking about my husband's indiscretions. I so wish I could talk to him. In spite...

We stayed a night at an endurance ride at Cardiff near Collie in Western Australia. The whole area around Cardiff and Collie has been ‘undermined’ for many years for coal. Now farmers in the area are finding occasional collapses...

I am off to play music with Hair of the Dawg. Our bass...

I usually make corned beef around the time of St. Patrick’s Day. That’s when it’s at a big sale. I finally made it today.
To go along with the corned beef I sautéed some cabbage and baked some sweet potatoes, which I diced. And...

The photo shows a beautiful gerbera or African daisy which is growing in the garden at our house-sit.
The gerbera originated in South Africa and was named in honour of Traugott Gerber (1710-1743), a German botanist and medical...

We were awake early – just before 6am – and I put on my...
