Offering Sugar to Ants?

In our tradition, there is a belief that by offering sugar to the ants, one's adverse time is away. I feel this may be true. Do you have such belief by tradition? Please discuss.

Kartik7 This is a religious work to offer sugar to ants regularly. Some people also offer wheat grains to pegions in the morning as a pious activity. Since religious / pious activities resolve bad times to good, this faith is thus obvious on offering sugar to ants....

Kartik7 Old is gold. In this aspect, I think that new is dew! As dew drops shine on leaves and flowers in the morning sunlight, so also new things are always attractive whether they may be very common or uncommon. So I may say, "Old is gold and new is dew." Thanks.

Kartik7 I like to read spiritual literature, mythological books, good novels and autobiographies. Since I am a little spiritual minded person, I always keep distance from fictions and horrors, because of the negative moral impact of such books. Thank you.
