Movie? Or books?

Given a choice, would you prefer to watch a movie, or read its book? Which do you think would be more enriching and why do you think so?

katticus Personally, I like to do both. I have done it with Twilight, the Harry Potter series, Dan Brown's DaVinci Code, etc. Sometimes I will read the book before the movie but most of the time I read it after I seen the movie.
