Razr phone sucks

got this razr phone recently n have started to dislike it. The main reason is the low volume. I could not find out how to change the volume (except the ring volume), if I'm on the street n talking, I can barely hear hear anything....

alright, I'm broke n going to visit london (may be scotland too), anybody has any idea how to save some $$$ in every possible way? Help!! Help!! Help!!
