kindas I think that with his first sentence he had the intention to point out the direct opposite. The sentence means, that if you are aware of your self, than your awareness leads to you existenve ( bad translation, i learned this interpretation in chinese). So...

kindas I sometimes give small amount of my earnings to referrals of mine who are very active. Its a good way but don't make the prize higher than the referral actually earned for you.
