I have perhaps 5 or 6 versions of the Bible in my home, but the one I like to carry to church is the amplified version, both for its presentation and because it's my large print Bible. For memory, I like the King James...

kkeithnr I like to use the KJV for doctrinal purposes...the other versions are helpful sometimes to compare, however there is more than meets the eye to the many many translations. There is a great free ebook called Bible Versions Unmasked at www.phase3ministries.com....
