If you look carefully at the photo, I hope you can make out a pushbike with an old-fashioned lawnmower attached to the front. The notice is a tongue-in-cheek spiel about how appropriate this would be for the lady of the house....

Judy Evans I don't think it would be easy or relaxing!! This type of mower is hard to push through lawn or grass.

LindaOH I remember when I was young going to the Cleveland waterfront to watch fireworks. The sound was so loud that you could feel it in your chest. It was deafening. I just kept the doors closed Saturday.

People around here drive to Indiana (not far) and buy illegal fireworks, and drag them back here. We've had booms every night for at least two weeks, often until 2 or 3 in the morning. The last two days have been beyond terrible....

Lenore Plassman @MarieCoyle An old neighbor posted a horrendous photo of a fire. Somewhere in my old neighborhood somebody caused a fire when they started off fireworks. That is a very dry rural part of the world. Very scary for everybody out there.
