questionsnoanswers Personally, i think first dates should be paid buy the man, its just a tradition that comes with respect. As for when am dating my boyfriend, i think its important that we share the bills, one time he pays then next i pay kinda thing.

Elixiress I live in England and if I am with my boyfriend, he usually pays, unless he is short on money and then we split it. I only pay if it is a special occasion for him or if I have asked him to come out and he says no he has no money, so I pay to get him to come...

nengs10 It really depends. Most of the time, it's the men who pay the bill. But if the men has no sufficient income, the couple may talk it over and decide that both of them may divide the bill. It all goes through smooth negotiation between the two people.
