Many of my friends have been burned, letting people get telephones, furniture etc, on credit under their names. One girl I know cannot buy a house now because she lent a friend of hers her credit card three years ago, the girl...

littlebitshier I have lent it to family but even then I make them sign a contract with me to pay it back. This way there is no agruing later as to who needed to pay.

littlebitshier I'm in total aggreement with Tess. Don't lock the child up! If there were any of these scenarios you'd never forgive yourself. Hopefully she'll grow up and out of it. Good luck Cynthia
