I don't know about you guys, but yersterday I really shocked about the execution news in my country of course. Is it me being naif?or is it the reality? I think right now in my life, I've never done something special that makes my...

An eye for an eye leaves the world blind. Good old saying here makes since. Also, in the U.S. they are starting to only use the death penalty on big murders (I think it is more then 5 people killed). By 2050 the death penalty hopefully will be gone.

Thank you for the comments / responses moviecont and locolobo. :) moviecont: You're right, cutting off a limb is barbaric, it's revengeful and is not really rehabilitating any person. After watching some prison movies, I realized why they were called...

Execution is cruel to the criminals, and perhaps can't make up for the loss of victim. But it is the most scary penalty, we should tell the meaning of execution from the society. it can diminish the number of crime and protect citizens efficiently. Almost...

lovelyjo hi welcome to my lot. I think that evildoersmust be punished but with the death sentence comes some doubt, what if some of these people are not guilty and are there because of some legal goofup, if they are put to death they will have no chance...

I've personally never been for execution much. Who is a judge but a human appointed by a government of other humans? Why should he have the power to present judgment to another person because of his or her's crime? He isn't a god and isn't truly justice,...

Hi lovelyjo, how are you? This is such a complicated subject, but basically, I do believe in the death penalty. But, only in cases where they are absolutely sure that the person is guilty. For instance, if there is an eyewitness, or absolute forensic evidence...

I think a person should be punished in the kind. A small fine for a small robbery, a larger fine for a larger robbery, and killing for murder. Do not consider me a barbarian. I know what it feels like to say this, but what other options have people got. No...

Uhm, personally I don't think cutting off people's limbs is a good idea. That is basically synonymous with torture, and you could even argue that the death penalty is better as it causes less pain. In fact, even in the death penalty they try to minimize the...

I agree with you lovelyjo. It will never solve the problem even if you punish the bad guys. But as our human or civilized law stated, we must punish those who are guilty, as a warning to others not to do those bad things again. Then again, does that make us a...

Well, every time I see a grisly case, I find it hard to be against the death penalty. However, I also realize that many times the convicted were convicted wrongly and don't deserve to die. This is not merely just a lengthy jail period--death cannot be...
