how many languages do you know? and do we have to know to survive?

i can talk english,german turkish and japanese. my mother language is turkish but i learned english and the other 2 language too. it was really useful to know new languages. i was working with english and american people before...

luqian AMAZING! You must have a gift for learning language. Well,I can just speak Chinglish fluently.LOL. I'm going to learn german at college,and it's heard that german is really difficult to learn,but no more difficult than Chinese,maybe.
