Does anyone show their dachshunds or any other dog in the Showrings?

I do mine and really enjoy. I am hoping to find someone else who really enjoys dachshunds and the show ring. It'd be good for tips and advice! What do you think?

marcindox I don't do agility with mine. I don't want to mess up their backs but Earthdog is another option. They absolutely love digging for the rat. Good luck though! It sounds like you have a very smart one on your hands!

I am a full-time groomer and I always like to keep my customers informed on how to take care of their pets, cats and dogs. I also raise my own dogs for show and enjoy it as well.

marcindox That is usually along the lines of the way I think. I think that every choice I have made, right or wrong, is what has made me the person that I am today. I like myself and I am really happy!

marcindox It's a question that makes for good conversation that's for sure! I don't think I would want to know when I was going to go. I usually try to make it a point to tell my family how much they mean to me, just in case. Thank you for your response

marcindox Oh my. I sure hope you don't have to spend a lot to get them groomed. Here we charge about $20 to groom a maltese. To bathe one which includes all the services but the haircut it is around ten dollars. Thanks for your reply!

marcindox I groom all breeds including cats. I raise and show miniature dachshunds. I also enjoy grooming bichons. They always look so nice when they are done. Do you use a snap on comb for the body or a blade? If so which size to you use?
