srjac0902 Excuse me. I wouldnot like to disagree with you. It is very much true that love begets love. If you are so much loved from your childhood, you too will know only to love. You feel happy ... it must that you too are altruistic and love your family with devotion...

If your parents asked you to forgive a person who has done something bad to you in the past. But that person is not even asking for forgiveness or not even apologetic at all. Can you grant your parents' wishes.

Jennifer This is a tough one. Most people want to please their parents. But if the person did something really mean or hateful it would be very hard to forgive them. Especially if they have not apologized or anything. If you think its the right thing to do then do it....
