Anybody suggest me homemade therapy for dry cough?

Today since 12 hours I suffered from dry cough. Usually I avoid medicines . So please suggest any homemade ( natural ) remedy for quick relief.

Alfredo Rossi Honey,lemon,cough drop,gargle with salt.Anything to soothe.Nasal spray they have plenty out there.Not home made.But it works

snowy I am not sure of any rememdies for dry cough, but I know honey and lemon work wonders with a sore throat.

Manisha my mom listens to spiritual music in the morning...so the first thing I hear as soon as I am out my bedroom door....is mom listening to bhajans. I'm usually on my phone for 1 hour on the morning.
