Mandatory conscription necessary or not?

In several countries there is mandatory conscription or military service of some kind. When i was a conscript there was a saying.- Who has been a conscript does not laugh in circus anymore. Not because you come out so serious...

metamaterialo Well i have to agree, but i guess it depends how long you have to serve. i had a one year service, and most people there thought its a waste of time. of curse you learn something there. But that does not mean i would not have learned something better without...

what are the things that make you happy and don't cost anything?

what is the last thing you got that makes you happy and does not cost you anything later on? And i don't mean house or a car or a new family member because these things cost money to maintain.

metamaterialo it is a physically existing thing and it does not cost anything, so this is the answer i was hoping to get. that means there are some things you never going to get from store. thanks!

how to forget somethink?

Leaning new thinks is relatively easy but how to forget something? there are a lot of things that people want to forget but they just can't. if someone has a good method how to to that i would like to hear it.

metamaterialo This is pretty much the way that government does it. writes down on a paper and quickly forgets. buts its a good thought maybe we have something to learn from the government after all.- how to forget -:)

can you fire a gun?

i have no experience in guns..and im too scared to fire!or shoot anything...and scared to hold a gun that has bullets in it...how about you?happy posting!

metamaterialo well i did shoot quite good but one thing is good shooting the other thing is good gun. even from small distances guns don't shoot into the same spot every time. so shooting apple on top of somebodies head would be a really big mistake to make.

Don't you get irritated when sometimes people just assume things the way they see when they don't really don't really know what the matter actually is, it has happened with me, i don't talk much and sometimes people get the wrong...
