Separate checking accounts

I was watching something on tv the other day and they were discussing the importance of separate checking accounts for the husband and wife in a marriage. What are your thoughts on this? I'm not sure where I stand.

mhayes7 I like the idea of a "bill" account and an "other" account. That way it's not a his/hers account. Thanks for the idea.

mhayes7 How do you determine what comes out of which account? That's what I'm struggling with the most, I think. He makes more than me, but not much more, so it wouldn't be fair to take all the bills out of his account and just use mine for other stuff.

Scrapbooking for Yellowstone

I just got back from a vacation out West and have great pictures from Yellowstone National Park. I can't decide on a good page lay-out. Any ideas? I'd like to do a 2-page side-by-side layout.

mhayes7 Have you tried any picture tucking before? I did once with a flower motif, but it just didn't turn out right. Any suggestions? Thanks for your idea!
