I would say that in Australia we consider it a right AND an obligation. I mean it is accepted that it is considered a privelidge, so no one complains about it and i think it works. But interestingly theres 32 or 33 countries around the world where voting is...

No offense taken. Technically you must register your name at the polling station on the day of the election, or else you get a fine. Of course there are exceptions eg you may be overseas and unable to reach an overseas consulate to vote, so which you are...
