When my kids were young, there were no cellphones yet. But if they were children today, I would not have them have their own cellphones. Texting is not for little kids who are still learning how to spell. We all know that text...

mike111 Yes rhadoo2006, I too agree with you, If the parents or guardian can make sure that the cell phones are not misused and it brings no harms for children from other adults then of course no problem in giving cell phones to children.
