is it true that when you shave,you get these random dots on your legs?is there any way to prevent that from happening?

JoyfulOne You don't have to get those random 'dots' when you shave. First, make sure the skin is moist and warm. NEVER take a razor to dry skin, or skin that is cold! When you're cold, you get those little 'goosebumps' and then when you shave you cut the top of them off...

cream97 Yes... I will just use Nair. So that way, I won't have to worry about this..

aplaza Those bumps can happen when you shave. It's caused by ingrown hairs. My advice would be: Srub in the Tub! get a good brush or loofah and make sure to scrub those gams often and you won't get as many bumps. Better yet don't shave but get it waxed.
