My husband and I kept our names when we got married. No Mr. & Mrs. John Smith (or even Mr. & Mrs. John & Jane Smith) for us. We are Mr. Hisfirst Hislast, and Ms. MyFirst MyLast, or Ms. and Mr, not to be hung up on who comes first....

Fleur @moonchild1au I do exactly the same, if one is a long-standing friend and the other is their spouse who I only know because of their marriage, I put my friend's name first, whether they are male or female.
