Shasta I generally clean the area and leave it alone. The itch is my last concern after a mosquitoes bite. If it really bothers you though, peppermint oil will bring some relief assuming no skin has been broken.

Heather Echola I think I have heard that before, but I have not tried it. If I have a banana on hand when I am bit, I may try it.

redhotpogo Rubbing alcohol works for me, and it kills the germs.
