How do "dirty" people NOT know they smell?

I know we have all met and been around a "dirty" person that just simply smells. How on earth do you think they cannot tell they stink? Do you think they know and just don't care? I understand in some cases it's a medical...

mtayyab Its not essential that this is a medical problem. the people who are "dirty" never thinks about it. dirtness is not the thing achieved by effort, absence of cleanliness is dirtiness....
