When is the best time to put baby in his own bedroom ??

So I was wondering when you think would be the best time to put my baby in his own bedroom ? that is to make things as smooth as possible ... Is there any age more favorable for such transition ... or on the other side are there...

mytwotinks I think that the longer you wait the more difficult it will be. If you wait till the baby is 12 mos. old, there is going to be a much bigger transition. Do you go to bed at the same time as your baby? Maybe that would be a good start. Leave the crib in...
