Just listening to music in the background, Dire Straits singing the walk of life from the Brothers In Arms album. This band has done some great stuff. What's your favourite?

noelgomes Dire Straits has given us so many fantastic numbers, it is really very difficult to have a favourite. Among the ones I like most are Sultans of Swing, Romeo & Juliet, Walk of Life and Water of Love

I just learned how to play it on my guitar and solo is absolutely intoxicating! I really love playing it, but I can't manage to play it with a pick, I must play it with my fingers (like the original dire straits guitar player...

noelgomes I have tried several times to pick up the full lead, but was not successful. However, I'm just crazy about this number.
