nomdeplume Another thing. If the day comes and goes and he is still employed, but they then later lay him off and don't give notice, the timer resets for the WARN law. He will have to have 60 days warning again prior to getting laid off. Period!

nomdeplume That was nice that the company offered a warning to the employees. I worked for a company down in California that failed to WARN the employees as required by Federal and state law. I sued and while the company ultimately ran out of money, it cost them at least...
