69golgotha69 i prefer to read in the bedroom, because there is no place else where i feel so comfortable and where i can feel that i am really connected to what i'm reading. next best option: coffee shop. it's just so cozy and quaint.

daitya Usually I read at library.. Here there is a peace & I can get the books from it.. I also prefer to read at homes & also in garden.. I have a dream to read in a boat in ocean.

recycledgoth I tend to read books in the evenings, and usually have a book on my bedside table too. I like to spend some day every day just sitting quietly reading, I curl up in my favourite chair and settle down to a good book

ragmama I read whenever and wherever I can! The book I'm reading usually travels with me through the house during the day - living room, kitchen, bedroom, even bathroom. If I'm going to an appointment or will be riding in the car for a while (not driving, of course),...

krebstar5 I like to read on the subway, in waiting rooms, on the floor in the winter when we have a fire going, but I mostly like to read in bed before I go to sleep. I've also been known to read in the bath.

lordwarwizard I am a guy and if a guy can split his legs easily, it would be some cause for stirs. Unless he is a gymnast of course. :P When you were 7, you trained and were flexible. But as you grow up, if you don't continue to bend and stretch, it is totally expected...

joanana When I was little I used to be able to do the spilts. Now I wouldn't dare try it. The results would just be humiliating.

enchantedleppard I have a feeling that if I tried to do a split today, something might split on the inside and I would require a trip to the emergency room.

yes they have lifejackets on boats for the passenger in case of an accident, the passengers can survive. why do airliners have lifejackets under the seat but not parachutes? all comments are appreciated. thank you.

bananamanuk They also have life jackets on planes, but I understand what you mean in your question. Putting a life jacket on is much easier than wearing a parachute. They are smaller, easier to store, weigh less and are therefore a great deal cheaper. Wearing a parachute...

slctalbot If a plane is going down it would be to hard to get 100 people to listen to direction on how to operate a parachute, get them lined up and out the door in time. Plus if you don't open the parachute at the right Altitude people could and would die.

paidreader I'm not sure how far down your ownership goes, but I know it's important to see if the mineral rights are included in your ownership. If not, you dont own anything but the above ground portion. For waterfront properties, in most cases, you don't own the land...

A_Skywalker No, I think you own 10 metres below the ground. After that you cannot own. But I am not sure 10 or 5, may be someone who knwos best will tell you.
