onlyme123 Yes, it is the thought that counts. But sometimes I can kind of tell that not much thought went into it! Don't get me wrong, I'm grateful for gifts, and I would never want to sound like I don't appreciate it. But I know some of my friends and how they think....

onlyme123 You brought up a good point. There's always that risk of my friend wanting to see me wear that scarf or show that dvd. When I return gifts, I better think about who among my friends are most likely to ask that.
