pacwmn It's weird how babies can know that your putting them down even after they are asleep! I tried not picking him up and rubbing his back tonight, and it worked! Hopefully it will continue to work. Good luck with your baby!

pacwmn Wow, good for you for sticking to your plan! It's so hard not to pick up a crying baby, but then they learn to rely on that to put them to sleep. I finally got him to sleep tonight without picking him up. Thanks for your help!

pacwmn He does have one of those toys and it really works during the night. ( I can hear it over the monitor) But not so much for going to bed origionally. Thanks!
