Iraq 1 Saudia Arabia 0 As an American, I must say that I am very happy for the members of the Iraqi national soccer team. It has been very difficult for them. What a way to perservere.

buzzmonster I was really impressed with the quality of football that they played - not the defensive kind that Greece played to win the Euro awhile back, but exciting, attacking football. They deserved it!

fightingistheonlyway funny cuz iran won the west asian cup, beating iraq and Saudi Arabia... the best teams in asia are japan and iran.. i guess that is the randomness of soccer right there.

beyond12 I watched the whole live broadcast last night.Persistence,compentence and team work spirit led to the victory which gave us a big surprise.Without the endorsement of the Irap people,Irap national team could not won the game .Though Irap is in a great mess now...
