How do you feel about lending money to a friend? How do you feel about borrowing money from a friend? Is it a good thing to do? Have you done it? Do you refuse to do so? How do you feel about it? What has been your experience?

Every early morning, my brother in law comes home drunk. He is being dragged by friends as he cannot manage to walk a while back. It has not been a great sight for my kids. He may have problems but... I have seen families...
