I would say I am rather a light sleeper as I could be waken up by many things easily, for example, I may be waken up by the whistling of the birds or the crows at the morning, I do not even need an alarm because they will whistle at the same time every day, even better than the alarm.lol.

I sleep a lot better when I am relaxed before going to bed. Otherwise, if something excited me or gave me something to think about, then I toss and turn every second or so in bed. With this I can say that I am both a light and heavy sleeper, depending on the circumstances before going to bed. Sometimes I find myself still awake after being in bed for two hours and then compensate by waking up two hour later than usual. Or there are times that I go to bed early, fall asleep at once and then wake up earlier than usual. I seem to have a body clock set to sleep continuously for around four hours only. I find it hard to sleep continuously beyond those four hours.

i am the light-type of sleeper. you don't need to set a bomb off to wake me. a simple turning on of a television set will already grab my attention. if people are talking too loudly with each other in the other room, chances are that i would not be able to fall back to sleep anymore. he he he.

Like you, i'm also a heavy sleeper. More often than not, my husband would arrive late from work and i'm already asleep, i would ask him the following day what time he arrived. Or sometimes, he would watch telivision after he got home in the middle of the night, i would wake up and then go back to sleep again. Sometimes, he would literally shout at me, to wake me up.

Just like you men! I'm a heavy sleeper too.
Sometimes I will set two alarm clock just to wake me up and aside from that I will leave a note to my mum to wake me up in case the clocks dont take affect on me..
But bit by bit of waking up early I sometimes can condition myself to wake up in a certain time... but definitely if I' sleep and someone is waking me up and its still not my conditioned time they will find it difficult to see my eyes open.

I am a very light sleeper most of the time unless I am very tired. If I am very tired, I can sleep like a rock all night long. If I am not tired, it takes me forever to go to sleep and the slightest sounds will wake me up if I ever go to sleep. I wake up alot during the night while I am sleeping and I will go ahead and get up sometimes. Later on, I will go back to bed and sleep like a rock. I can't take naps during the day because I just cannot go to sleep during the daylight hours and it makes me wide awake when night time gets here.

I'm a pretty heavy sleeper most of the time. There are times that I'll only be a light sleeper though. Usually when someone in the family is sick or not feeling well and might need attention in the middle of the night. :)

as for me, i don't sleep much.. 5 hours of undisturbed sleep is that I desire ,never more than that. Besides, I get 15 minutes' afternoon nap.

i am also the light type of sleeper. sound of radio, tv, clock or talking of people can easily wake me up from deep sleeping. i hate most while sleeping is the loud voice of persons talking without seeing here and there. i mean when i am sleeping i do not like any one to talk loudly. i also do not like when someone comes in and goes out from the room when i am sleeping.

I am a ver light sleeper. I can hear if my daughter even ges up to go to the bathroom in the night. My husband is a very deep sleeper he sleeps through the alarm almost every morning. I usually need to turn on the bright lights and pull off his covers to get him awake for the day.

I don't know that I am a light or a heavy sleeper. Most nights, I will wake up at least once, needing to use the bathroom or get a glass of water. When I was younger, though, I slept through small earthquakes and bad weather regularly.

I envy you, I am a light sleeper, very very light sleeper. Sometimes I think if someone dropped a feather in the next room I would wake up. Needless to say with an over active teenaged boy in the house I do not get a lot of sleep...
True story - there is a door off the bathroom into my bedroom. My son has a habit of leaving the bathroom light on when he leaves through the other door and even with the door to my room closed and my back to the door I will somehow since the light on and it will wake me up.
